Exhaust manifold bolts-washers or not?

Finally, after doing a little brazing job on my Kohler L600 flathead exhaust manifold, I am getting readyy to bolt on the exhaust manifold. The parts book does not show the fasteners. Flat washers on the manifold bolts?

A flange head bolt would be better

SV is correct. IF you can not find any you can use washers but not the soft/cheap ones you usually get. Get grade eight washers. The soft ones will not work well with the manifold heat.

Thanks! I found some grade 8 flange bolts at my local hardware store.
