Replacement edges for 3 point blades?

Dumb question perhaps, but are the replacement cutting edges for most 3 point tractor blades universal, or are they specific to brands?

If universal, then a Rhino blade will fit a Woods, or a Bush Hog or Bison or ????? Or at least as long as the size is the same.....like 7', 8', 9' etc?

Is there a good aftermarket source other than dealers?

I just take the old one to the local welding shop and they punch the holes in a new piece of steel, good to go.

Modirt,Just a shot in the dark. There is a steel yard in Louisiana MO that has cutting edges for sale $40.00 if you are close.

I went to see my buddy at the local state highway garage. I don't think that I will ever wear them out.

I bought a piece of harden steel at a local steel supplier. They cut it to size for me. Had to drill round holes and use hex head bolts instead of the square countersunk holes
and plow bolts like were in the old one.

Did some online snooping and found this.......

which would suggest they are more or less universal.

Mine is an older Rhino blade, which has the top punched bolts, but otherwise, it seems the bolt holes match. But mine also has a bit of camber to it, so not sure if flat steel plate fits.

Also looks like most of the newer blades are center punched so you can flip them over.
