Fitting size

I am finally getting my M Farmall back together. Somewhere I have lost the fitting that goes in the side of the block and connects the line to the oil pressure gauge. The part number for the fitting is 60 046DX. Does anyone have information on the fitting thread sizes, so I can get a new one. I cant find the part number listed on the internet. Thanks so much for your help.

Not sure what kind of threaded fitting the original was, I would "guess" the threaded part is 1/8" national pipe thread (NPT). At least.that's what a lot of engines use. If you want to, you could just put in a whole new line with standard NPT compression fittings on each end, maybe 3/16" diameter copper tubing, even 1/8" tubing will work. The threaded part of each fitting will probably be male on the engine and female on the gauge. Once again, I'm just saying my own experiences.

IH book says replaced by 30402D. It is 1/8 th in male pipe and 1/4 internal compression female 90 degree elbow. In other words, the compression sleeve is part of the nut that screws into the elbow, same as gas line except smaller.

dont feel like walking through 4 ft of snow to look. you have the hole in block to tell you the thread size. probably 1/8 pipe thread. same as the bigger grease fittings if your wondering. its how the oil line fits in the fitting is the question. probably has a furrel.
