Deutz-Fahr hillside combine video.

Whoa! So much could go wrong there!

It still looks awful top heavy, even when held level!

Is it really stable or just a false sense of not really knowing what is about to happen?

What happens when a cylinder buckles or blow a hose???

Like a lot of things in life, you kind of have to know what you are doing. Idiots need not to apply.

wonder about soil erosion on such slopes?

NO.NO.NO.AND HECK NO!!! He is driving that thing like I drive my big garden tractor with loaded rear wheels. A 30? slope is about all she wrote. Notice how they are using the smallest available head for that machine. Also t he ground is nice and Dry for good traction. After that video I need a drink. Only in Sweden baby!!

I ran a old 95 JD hillside combine. You had a toggle switch to hit if you turned to quick and threw your level. Was really confidence inspiring. I loved it. 1964 I think

Nothing new

Kinda reminded me of a feces-rolling bug on those hillsides and the back end hiked up in the air.
I would like to see what they used to plant that grain on those slopes.

Lots of hillsides in WA and OR some other places also. The erosion is minimal since it only rains about 10 inches per year and most of it is snow.
They also like tracked tractors for less powdering of the soil. With push fans they put a deflector in front to shunt the air upward.
