The original subject was "Potato Digger?"

Sorry for being late to the game with this reply. SH Peek of East Aurora NY made & sold farming implements, and ran a large lumber yard and planing mill. Check out US Patent #1,065,622 from 1913 awarded to Clifford H. Peek (SH's son, most likely) using the link. That patent if for a potato digger, which may be what this part is from. See photo. But, it could be from some other farming implement or machine (if it's OK if I state the obvious).

While Peek did manufacture Reuther's potato digger (especially early on), Peek wasn't an exclusive maker through the years. Going by memory, the Reuther Potato Digger was also made by Reuther himself in the earliest days while in Elma NY; and it was made by Le Roy Plow Company of Le Roy NY; then it was manufactured by the Reuther Mfg. Co. in Hamburg NY (which bought out Peek's business in 1914); and finally US Wind Engine Co. of Batavia IL. John Reuther held over 20 patents for variations of his famous potato digger.
