Freddy Canon also sang "Palisades Park" a rock /roll hit that rose to number 3 on the charts in that era, maybe couple yrs later. He sold a million copies of that which may not sound like much today but back in the day that was one hail of a lot of vinyl records. By the way there actually is a "palisades park" over somewhere near Larry the Corner guy.
