Bio Diesel follow up

I did notice that a lot of the stations with bio Diesel had bags over the handles, but non of the conventional ones did.

No more bio for me in the winter.

I love bio diesel. It has been VERY good for my business. 20-30% of the work I do is freeing up stuck pumps. I can always tell if it is bio diesel, it has a very different smell when it ages. It gets very thick, and does it pretty fast when in a tractor that isn't used often. I am to young to retire so keep it flowing! Al

Minnesota runs 20% bio I?m summer, 5% in winter.

It works and it?s worthwhile for our own selves, but a person has to keep up with it just a little bit.

I agree with you not too much bio over winter!

Even a 2-5% bio sure helps make up for the lack of sulfur in modern diesel, so running without any has some i negatives too.

(quoted from post at 09:17:53 02/04/19) The only people that pretend to like bio diesel and ethanol are the ones making money off of it.

It's garbage any way I see it.
Causes me a Ton of problems in my old Iron that sits.

Since they've added ethanol around here around 2000, I no longer have to buy gas line anti-freeze. Used to have to buy a gallon of that junk every winter and still fought with water getting into fuel filters etc. Haven't even had to think about that problem in years.
