Griddle cooking

Anyone on here do any cooking on a griddle, looks like it would work good at tractor shows!

We have an electric griddle. Pancakes, grilled cheese sandwiches, patty melts, ruebens, diced potatoes and hash browns. We don't do bacon or sausage or burgers cause it's too messy with the splattering and grease running everywhere.

With a griddle stick a big pot lid over top. Just arrange stuff so it will fit under the lid. Cuts way down on the mess. Also lower your temperature a little. Cooks slower but less mess. Ideal if you have a rectangular lid from a roast pan.

Two to one rather use griddle than a pan for pancakes,eggs,stir fry and such. SWMBO will take soap and water to cast iron so we have stainless steel.

Our new stove has one. Gets used all the time. Tilted slightly for grease to run to the far end.
