I am glad you got your heat back. It is no fun wondering how cold the house is going to get before you get it fixed. Paul

Heat would not come on 2AM. Reset hi-tech tstatnnogo. Set tstat so heat would come on. After a while set the stat so it would turn off. In the AM reset the tstat again and all work. Come to find out the company pushed a firmware update to the stat and that caused the problem.

Don't have that problem with my wood furnace. Just get up in the night and go down in the basement and add wood to the fire when it gets below zero. Need to get anyway.

Zero maintenance issues with electric baseboard heat. Nice not to get a call from tenants saying they have no heat. I mand first total electric home in 1985. Zero repairs. No filters. I don't do anything to them.

Yeah George, and if you paid what we pay here in NH for your electricity, your electric would have been ripped out years ago like all of it here. I can remember in the sixties all new homes had electric, but none since the early seventies.

I have three sources of heat here. Oil furnace, NG fireplace and a space heater in the man cave, and a wood furnace. I have a portable generator that will power the blower for the wood furnace and the oil furnace.
