Pretty neat,local Yanmar dealer was telling me Yanmar now sells a small round baler that makes a bale about the size the old Allis Chalmers Roto Balers made.That's the way farming is headed
it seems very large mega operations and very small operations.

This is a Caeb brand baler that can be adapted to many differentl styles of tractor, including on a 3pt hitch for subcompact ride-on tractors. They make a roughly 2 foot by 2 foot bale when mounted on a walk- behind.

Looked it up they cost about $9,000.

The guy should let his grass grow a little before cutting it, then slow his tractor down so that the baler can pick more than half of it up.

He needs to rerake the hay to firm up his windrows that would then do a cleaner job of picking up the hay. Also could double them up for cleaner field after he puts some teeth in the rake or adjusts it better to rake cleaner.

Is round better than square?

I suppose you don't need a big baler and tractor taking up space in the garage.
