If he caught the bullet mid air, I need to see his dentist. I just got back in from helping the neighbors unfreeze their kitchen. Prior owner put styrene foam
on the inside of the supply so cold would stay on the pipes at the rimjoist. A little rearrangement of the foam, and a hair dryer worked. I also fixed 2 space
heaters while at it. One had a bad tip-over safety switch the other needed to be operated long enough to burn off the dust. Jim

At first I was going to check if that was degrees F or degrees C, but -40 is the same in both scales. Too cold either way.

(quoted from post at 10:53:24 01/30/19) What is your record low up there in northern MN?
The coldest we've gotten here is -50.6F

That -60F temp happened before I moved to MN.

Anything below -30F is simply too dang cold. ...By next Winter, I may revise that figure to anything below -20F. *lol*

I've seen -40 in upstate NY, maybe a
couple of degrees colder. Walked to class
at -40, truck wouldn't start, college was
in session.
