whats you temp

Its currently -26 below here, real feel -66 below with 62% humidity here in North Dakota. No cryin, or whining here. Just cold, and worry about people and animals that are out.

Mid Michigan,I don't know right now. We had a reprieve this morning, wind died off and it got up to 15. I plowed snow and ground a load of feed. Wind picked back up to white out conditions. My guess would be that it's back down around 10 by now.

High noon on Tuesday here in Southern Minnesota, it is -8, headed for -28 tomorrow morning at sunrise. BBBRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!

Boy, I will not be going to North Dakota in the winter!!! Oh my God. We get -25 to -30 here in Vermont. That all I want to see.

15 years ago today, the temp here was -45 below, and that wasn't wind chill..... Life is good here..

Yeah, I was just thinking back to 10-15 years ago and the Winter's we had then. Made what we're having now kinda wimpy.

We've warmed up to our high today of -23F. Wind chills today are supposed to get to around -65F.

One time we had a freak thing one night and the mercury kept dropping....all the way down to -50.6F!! Not a bit of wind anywhere. I went outside just to experience that kind of cold once in my lifetime, and once was definitely enough. When it gets below -30F, don't matter how much more it goes -- it's just plain nasty after that point!

Ande, what part of ND are you in?

Currently -20, windchill of -37, in east central MN. Supposed to be -38 air temp and -65 windchill the next two nights. It?s cold! I know it?s cold when my outdoor wood boiler can?t keep up and I hear the propane furnace kick on during the night. My bet is it will happen the next two nights.

It's a balmy -9F at 1:25 p.m. in south-central Minnesota. The air temperature tonight is supposed to be -29; high Wednesday -19; Wednesday night -31. I'm running nine heat lamps, three heated water tubs and two electric heat mats for my big dog and various tame and wandering cats. I'm eager to see what my electric bill will be.

I'm just grateful I don't live near some of you Minnesota folks where it gets REALLY cold.

Just got a text from my son in Long Beach MS, He was rubbing in his +40 temp, -2 with -22 wind chill in Southern South Dakota.

(quoted from post at 11:54:49 01/29/19) @kcm.MN

NE corner of the state.

Guess we're neighbors.

We're a stone's throw from the border, in the Boonies.

Ya'll were supposed to get more snow in that last storm. We only got a couple inches, but lots of drifting. Glad to hear you're still kicking there.

It's 46 and mostly sunny DFW Tx.

Weather guessers missed it this time, didn't get as cold as they said it would.

I take that as a good sign that spring is on it's way!

Gayfer's still have a dept. store down there between Biloxi and Gulfport? Been in shirtsleeves all afternoon here NE of Dallas, 30's this AM early.

Spent about two hours there in a nice old museum not long ago, have family in Casa Grande , love that part of the country.

Predicted down to the minus teens with -50 windchill tonight and a high of -9 temperature and -40 windchill tomorrow, w.c. Ohio. Woodstove is keeping temperature nice in that part of the house.

-20 now, going to -27 tonight and up to -20 tomorrow, then -33 tomorrow night. -50 or colder wind chill the whole time.

Here in Buffalo MN it's currently -24 at 5:45pm it supposed to get down to -28 tonight and -30 tomorrow night. BRRRRRRRR.
More proof of global warming!
Brian

-25f currently here in the great white north, weather guessers are predicting -37f for a low overnight... NW wind at 12mph won't help mater's much either...

Actually it is proof of global warming, the arctic ice cap is warmer than normal, and that has pushed the polar vortex south to the midwest states. Northern Alaska is warmer than normal, and Australia is way warmer than normal, that's why it's called global warming!

Sorry for all of you who are cold but here in Flagstaff, AZ it is 43F a 5:30pm kinda sorta sunny. Put another log on the fire.

Not to bad here in Deer Park Wa. I was on a ftx in in Ft Greeley AK with the US Army in January 1996 and the ambient temp was -101f, have no desire to mention the wind chill factor, lol. So nothing is cold for me anymore.

Leonard

8:50pm, it's -33F outside. Internet is saying winds out of the North at 14, gusting to 18.

It's already uncomfortable when it's -30F and no wind, so adding the wind means I'm staying inside!

Hit 71 in Goodyear, Az today. January 30, 1951 the temperature fell to -53 on the farm in So Central, Wi. Was tough milking cows and keeping things going that day. In those days everyone just dealt with it and did what you had to do. Just imagine what today's media would have done with that event.

real temp is - 17 wind chill is - 63 here on IL Wis state line Rockford Il weather guesser said last night we could set lots of all time lows tonight.

Tall Kid and I ran some errands came home to furnace not working air intake was plugged with snow so furnace shut down repair guy came and had me running in about 15 minutes.
I told him that was best 70 dollars I had spent long time.

Well, at Pic posting time (midnight), it's currently -35F. Forecast is now calling for a low of -41F, with wind chills of -63F.

Kcm we haven?t 45 below for several years which is
ok normally the cold years aren?t the good moisture
years anyway

I should watch my mouth right now but we had some of that global warming here in slightly west central MN 20-30 years ago.
Winters used to get cold here and then they started warming up some and now we get a taste of a real winter's night or two.
I've seen 40 below a bunch of years ago. I started the old pickup, killed it letting the clutch out, started it again, warmed it up and went to work on time. This morning I lollygagged and went to my new part time work a bit later.
32-34 below here this morning and about the same for overnight/tomorow morning. Perhaps colder!
Local conditions says 26 below just now. Very little wind.
It was a beautiful morning and day! 30 below ya but little wind, the sun was so bright and you could feel it today!
:)
