I was in Minneapolis yesterday with semi and going again today. Roads were OK other than black ice on bridges. Lots of spinning merging into traffic on bridges. Big parking lot on 169N due to accident. Worried every time I had to stop, that I wouldn't be able to get going again.
 
Oh boy did that strike terror in my heart. Can remember back many years ago when you see and hear that terrifying happening. Always ALWAYS run that chain dry till it freezes. Funny how after just one time you understand completely.
 
We had one cow that had fun washing her nose. Totally flooded the manger. Finaly had to unlock the cup for a couple of days till she knocked it off.

We get our news and weather from four different stations 70 miles away.
Weather forecast for all surrounding areas was for 1/2" to 3" of freezing rain and snow and all schools attendance was cancelled.
We received NOTHING not even rain--just cold !
 
Try repairing the chain on a stable cleaner, looping it over the drive sprocket, 15 feet in the air, in a blizzard cuz that's the only time they break....
