Found this on Youtube. Kind of neat to see some different equipment but mostly the same type. There is a Krone continuous round baler with an integrated wrapper on the back that was interesting. Hate to see the cost on that machine.

Hay Season 2018, Australia

I?d hate to know how long the hay will sit in the windrow while you wait for a part to come from the planet mars for that krone when it breaks during prime haying weather ? Neighbor had a new Holland round baler that took 3 months to get an auger for the pickup and fiat sent the wrong one twice in the right box. picked up quite a bit of custom work on that deal

Krone has a good parts system in the US. I sold their tedders and hay rakes. They rarely did not have anything we needed right here in the mid-west. Then Memphis, TN had every hay equipment part that Krone made in stock. Also on the big balers and forage harvesters they have several levels of "UP Time kits". These include the majority of common parts you might need running those pieces of equipment. These "kits" are at the farmers. You pay a deposit and then at the end of season you pay for what you use after the deposit is deducted. The top level of these kits would have the majority of the part you would ever need in them. The lower level kit might just have the knotter stuff in them as example. all in all Krone is a pretty darn good company.

I actually had more trouble getting some of the German made JD forage harvester parts than the Krone made products.

CNH/ Fiat does not have the best parts support. AGCO is even worse around here. Some guys on here claim next day AGCO parts availability but I can not get that around here. it is always 2-3 days on a lot of things form AGCO here.

That?s interesting to know . Agco here isn?t terrible on parts but they don?t stock much . I always worry about suport from anything foreign built no matter who sells if . Most of my equipment I can get parts for at my independent guy and don?t need to go the dealers to much

Those continuous round baler with wrappers are quite the piece of technology. I could see they?d definitely have their place for custome operators or very large farms. I would think a baler like that would be in the range of 200k

JD Seller I am with you, Krone probably does parts better than anyone of the short lines. O course it is easy for us because we are close to Memphis but the kits also is a industry leading example of what they are doing. I know some guys in south Arizona that bale 24 hours a day, high usage and they love Krone because of the parts support.
