Bragging temps?

I generally don't complain about temps til they go to -30? or worse, but this is close, and might keep me out of the shop this weekend.

Couldn't fit it in because of the add, but there is one more day of -21? then a warm up.

Woke up to -27F here this morning. I am both bragging and complaining. At least the wind is not blowing so it won't be too bad. Have to check the hay feeders. Hoping they have enough for another day so I don't have to start the Massey today. Or is tomorrow going to be the same?

Jon; I was 48F here this morning an rain. We got .56" of rain yesterday. Since midnight we have gotten another .62" already today. Temp is supposed to take another real drop in the next couple of days. We will be getting your leftovers.
Sorry I missed your call yesterday, maybe today.

Going to colder for us tomorrow too... in the tropical southern part MN.

I have to go for x-rays tomorrow... would rather just stay in the warm house.

Don't think I could find enough long johns to handle your weather. At my age I am freezing to death when the temperature is on the + side of yours.

Jon I saw your shop looks like you have lots of storage room. What about boxing an area off even with plastic and having heat in it?

I think that you should spend most of the weekend out there to make sure that nothing gets hurt by the cold.

Going to get up to 70 here in Phoenix today, but I have to go home tomorrow and get in my truck that has been sitting outside at airport, brrrr.

I have found 30 below is sometimes warmer than 10 above because it freezes the humidity dry. Same thing happens when it?s 80 degrees or 110 above

Same forecast a few dozens of miles south of you.

Today it is a balmy zero now, with 35 mph winds.

Saw a snowball roll across the road, don?t usually or ever see that, a whole snowball rolling across the prairie.

Now we are losing the wind erosion game. Not very much snow on the ground here, typically our dirt is very heavy and wet and covered in snow so we don?t get much dirty snow any more. But the sustained 35mph winds finally changed that. Bummer. It?s turning black out there. The 25mph winds last week didn?t move dirt, but they freeze dried the surface so as to dry out the top half inch and allow this wind to move it.

Those cold temps are gonna drive down deep, going to raise heck with water pipes. We depend on a snow cover to insulate the ground some and keep the cold to the top 5 feet or so. Anyone who cheated a bit with water lime depth is going to have issues.

The modern septic tanks with the leach lines only a foot deep they require now are also in trouble. People will find out, not that any officials will care their required systems don?t actually work.

Jon, you know the honeydew list is a lot longer now, sooooo, why not this weekend get caught up in the house, and maybe get a pie out of it, just sayin

Been busy with medical procedures all week, feel like I haven?t accomplished anything this week. Temp here in Flagstaff tomorrow so I plan on getting outside and getting back after it. Finish off splitting wood and sorting out my storage shed. Glad I don?t have some of the accumulation some of you guys have.
