Here are a few pics from the show and pull. My NAA got the sled going but I piled up a bunch of dirt and got 49.95 ft. It was still fun.

There's a few memories in those pictures. I remember a few of those one row mounted pickers around here on Bs. Dad bolted a wood block to the clutch pedal on a Pony that he'd traded a JD A for when I was about 5 or 6,so I could push it down and plow snow with it.

Thanks for posting. I love exhibits like the A with the mounted picker, because it gives us old guys a chance to answer the inevitable questions from the grandkids- "Whats that thing with the two rockets on the front?"

Missed the event. Thanks for the pix.

Happen to know someone in Austin area that could help me with fine tuning on a '49 8n? Got a high rpm miss that has me stumped. I do pretty good on most engines but this is my first tractor restore and the throttle-to-governor-to-carb setup has cost me most of my hair.

Would appreciate name and phone number by e-mail if you would.

Thanks

I don't. The 8N expert I knew passed a couple of years ago at 101. Iv'e got a '48 in pieces that so far I have found reasons not to
start putting together. There is a garage in Hye right across from the Post office where they are always working on old Fords but I
have never stopped to talk.
