3 pt disc plow

Yes several companies years back such as Dearborn,IHC & JD made integral disk breaking plows. There's probably more brands that I can't recall. I own a JD 3 disk model F225

I don't know about on the new equipment market. But I know they have been made in the past, and a used one could probly be found. I have a three point 2 bottom. It really tears the he!! out of the ground.

AC made one too.

Interesting brochure. I pull a Massey Ferguson 2 disc plow with my 8N. I'm not sure of the size of the disk on my plow but it must be the weight of the Tufline plow that it recommends 50 Horsepower.

I have no idea as to the mfgr., but I finally found one at a local used tractor/implement dealer....has 4 24" or so discs. Getting used to how it works....we'll see. Sticks out over 6' and getting the 3rd member on the 3 pt set right is tricky. Neighbor had a 2 disc drag type he pulled with an early letter JD, maybe a B. To have something to do he'd plant Blackeyed Peas, invite the neighbors over to pick when ready and afterwards, just plow them in and start over. Gave him something to do and the Houston Black Clay soil was like velvet. One year he planted and the neighbors harvested peas with not one drop of rain on the crop....and it's hill top land.
