No calves this weekend

They all made it through the cold, wet weekend without pushing out calves. This week looks pretty fair.

This little heifer is about two weeks old.

I was shooting for November, but my bull decided my neighbors cows were prettier last January. We haven't had much winter weather in the last several years. But in the last several years, March and April have been cold and wet. You can't count on much weather here, except for hot in the summer.

Looks like great calving weather to me probably about as warm there now as it is here April May and June

I really enjoyed driving through there and looking at the mountains.

It is too flat here.

I lived in Albuquerque for four years and Denver for one, got back here and could not remember my directions, no mountains in the distance to get my bearings.
