Haven't herd from you, how did you make out on the pto issue??? I saw some of it on the oliver board. Was going to tell you I ended up making the tool to take the clutch pack drum out. I converted a 4 wheel drive spindle socket. Had to do a lot of work to that one seals and new pto shaft even the part in the back where stub shaft went was shot!!
 
I got'er together. I welded a couple of pieces of wheel rake tine to a piece of pipe to make a spanner wrench for it. The only seal and o ring I changed was right behind the spider in that cast flange that comes off with just four bolts. I didn't take the top off the transmission and get in any deeper than that.

I had trouble at first because that set screw in the hub in the center of the spider had been loose to begin with,so I didn't even realize it was there. After I took it apart the second time,found it and tightened it up,everything worked like it should.
