Moving Bales With The Massey

I have my trail cam set up by my oat bales and got quite a few pictures of myself moving bales yesterday. I'm laying a row of straw bales along side the row of oat bales in effort to keep the deer from damaging them. Those deer sure like oats, or any grain for that matter.

Nice pic with the Massey, what model do you have? Also, where do you put the straw to use when you're not fooling the deer?

Its the old reliable Super 90 Massey in the photo. Yes, it was a bit cold out in the wind at 0 degrees but not bad in the shelter of the yard trees. The straw is from my own fields. I have so much I give some away sometimes. I usually
bale a bit for my own use. And no, there is no venison in my freezer. Hunting season is over.

Here in Sotland if a deer is 'marauding', ie damaging your crops (or bales) you can shoot them any season. Kept my freezer full of the blighters who came to eat my turnips every winter!

Sounds reasonable to me. Hopefully it won't come to that here.

....Looks a bit like my 40 from a distance. Then again, I think all Masseys look like my tractor LOL
