More Case in Miniature

Many of you may have seen the 1/16 scale moldboard plow that I have been building. I also started building a 7 shank Landoll Soilmaster. That is coming along nicely, and I am heavily customizing an older Ertl Case 1030 toy tractor that I had given to me back a month ago. The tractor was missing one fender, the other was bent along with the rear axle, a broken drawbar and missing front tire and steering wheel. I started building a cab for another tractor years back, so now I will finish it up on this tractor. I will be cutting off a lot of unwanted pieces on the tractor carcass including the front axle. I will build a custom front axle which looks real, and building a wide swinging roller drawbar rather than the generic one Ertl used.
Bolt on accessories and wheels and tires are coming from Dakota Toys. The cab and other modifications are made from K&S brass tubing and sheet stock, plus copper flashing.

They are nice.
Are you giving away miniatures at your next meeting of the Knights of the round Table?

Pretty impressive and I own the real Landoll counterpart so I know how they should look for real. Square head screw for the spring reset? I've wanted to do a forage harvester know but with companies like Scale models doing them now I might as well wait to see if they do an IH 55 (same as Case 300). Maybe I will do a table blower as the "geometry" is much simpler.

Man I wish I had your talent . Things like that look easy to build when your looking at them from the tractor seat but when it comes to doing it that?s a whole different thing entirely . I would love to have a model of a lely power harrow and a John Deere hoe drill with press wheels

I think you're thinking of the model 1610. I suppose some could have been Cockshutt red.

That is the loader that I have, but it was painted red. and just had an OLIVER decal on it. I narrow it up, shortened the boom, and redid the towers to fit it to a Case 440 tractor.

Swartz sold those loaders painted red. A friend had a brand new one on his John Deere 60. Had it one week then took it off and painted it green because it looked so odd on his 60. Tom
