Back from Houston

We got back last night.

As I am getting older the 16 hour drives just are not fun anymore, think we will fly next time to visit inlaws. We came up through the east side of Texas and west side of Arkansas, it rained most of the way to KC, but no freezing. My daughter went down with a bad cold, and we all came back with it.

Glad your home safe.

My Grand Kids had colds over Christmas. Now the wife and I have them. The last few days chores is all I have done. set in the house the rest of the time. Plenty of naps. LOL

I have tons I want to do this weekend, but just not the energy to do it.

Task list for today is to pull boat out, flush engine, drain and get ready, it was just too cold in November to do it.

When younger, I never had a problem with long-distance driving; just didn't care for it. My dad was the opposite - he'd be on the road constantly if he could. Seems the older he got, the more he wanted to be on the road.

I remember one place he worked on the other side of Houston. Was about 3.5 hour drive each way. He finally started working four 10-hour days. ...His next job, he started his own machine shop at home. *lol*

You should have stopped by.You could have spent three hours with me. Stuck in a muddy field.I spent most of my working life in field service. Hated being locked up in a shop.

It was really wet and muddy there, we left at 11PM, drove through the night, got home at 5PM the next afternoon.
