The MT4801DT is close...but the front supports for the cab cover are different as well as the PTO lever on the left side of the dash. Would they have changed that around?

It?s quite common for manufacturers to change
things like levers and things like that throughout
production of a machine

Went to a Mitsubushi dealer away back to get parts for my Eclipse. Old guy behind counter. I ask. What does Mitsubishi stand for? He replied Mitsu= Three Bushi= Diamonds. Therefor the three diamond logo. Learn something new everyday.

Grey Market machine. If you haven't bought it yet don't. If you've already bought it I hope you got it cheap. There may be parts available from overseas sources Japan, Philippines, etc. but even if they had been imported for the North American market the individual parts may not be the same for the same model North American VS Asian. PTO speeds for example.

The only Mitsubishi tractor I found that had the Isuzu 4BD1 was the MT6301. I can't speak for the tractor, but the 4B series engines were tough.

Grey Market machine. .....

What points to that?

That machine looks like it has had very poor treatment. Sad, at one time it was a decent machine.

I only know one guy with a Mitsu tractor. It is similar, but smaller. He bought it off a rental yard in the early 80s. He works ~10 acres of Christmas trees with it and mows the forest road shoulders on the other 40+ acres of commercial timber he has. Claims it has never needed anything beyond normal maintenance stuff. Don't know how many hours it has. I'll have to remember to ask him next time I see him.

I did buy it already..$3500. Its my first tractor. It has fired right up every time with no smoke. I havent used it yet because Im tracking down filter numbers and getting the cylinders resealed. I guess I'll keep my fingers crossed.. Thanks everyone

I have a Mitsubishi MY1800FD tractor but every time I see it I think of "Brought to you by the makers of the A6M Zero aircraft".
