I bought a new 2012 Kaw 4010. Pro very easy on gas. Very useful. Larger bed than most. Can haul 100 gallons of water without overloading it. Love the efi and power steering. Con, better figure out how to service it and repair it yourself. Local people have no idea how to set up the two throttle plates. They want a fortune to check valve clearance and change engine oil and axles oil.

I have a JD 825 that I really like.

I also have an older 4x2 Gator that has been beat on for twenty year by kids and grand kids. It shows over 6000 hours on it. Other than oil changes and drive belts never touched anything else. I know it is slow and cold blooded but it sure has been dependable.

I have a Kawasaki mule 610 4x4 bought new in 2014, it is used year around, has a blade for plowing snow, it does a very good job, before that I had a Farmall cub for plowing snow, the mule is much easier to get on and off. Con's, I can't think of any.

The one used most is a 2006 Polaris ranger500 4x4 that we bought my mom for christmas. My dad bought a new 570 ranger this summer and it only has 90 miles on it so far. Also have a 1000 ranger crew 4x4, a gator cx and a 550 crew gator( pos)!

I don't know SV these two don't seem to fight to much. As a matter of fact if one gets into trouble the other is always there to pull it out.

Man your buck looks to be in great shape ! Mine has been rolled off the hill about ten times and right after I first got it I took it scuba diving

JD RSX860I. Use it for utility pole surveys. Will go anywhere, street legal, 60 MPH, dual batteries for my auxiliary equipment. It fits in my toy hauler. Been a good machine so far. Bought it new 2 years ago. Also have a couple of old and slow JD 4x2?s that the grandkids drive. Lucky to get 14 mph down hill with the wind at your back. They are Indestructible.

I have a Kawasaki 4010 SE gasser. It?s a good worker, big bed has room for lots of stuff, comfortable bench seat is very easy to get in and out of. It has hydraulic drum breaks that can be thrilling at times. As short as I am, I can almost stand up straight in the cab. The 2 cyl. engine is very quiet. I installed a winch and electric/hydraulic lift for the dump bed and have a soft cab enclosure for winter. It?s built like an IH Scout and only does 25mph but I like it.

I have a TX gator 4x2.
Pros are cheap, simple, troublefree, quiet. It makes a great sawhorse for projects. Its real easy to get on and off of and the number one standard I use when testing different models.

Cons are slow down the road, lack of 4x4 but that tends to keep you out of trouble and the floater tires will go thru a lot in 2wd. Lack of cab or sunshade.

Next one was possibly thinking a prowler cause they advertise a quiet machine. The new ones all seem to be built for racing and not for work. The sound of those racers annoys me terribly. Beds are high and small and hard to mount and dismount.

I have a 900 kubota that is about a year old. I didn?t really like the ones without the independent rear suspension but I really like the new one. Total on the farm we have 3. Mine, kubota 1140 and a gator 850 or 8 something. The gator is ok. Better than a pickup but a lot more of a toy. The kubota?s are the work horses of the farm. Have yet to have any issues with the kubota. The gator is pretty beat up mainly because of the primary drivers but one major problem is the throttle cable comes off of actuator constantly. The way it is attached is hard to explain but very silly if you look at it. It?s a major pain when it happens with a 30 gallon spot sprayer full as you have to raise the bed to fix it. Also had a lot of electrical problems but mostly from negligence I believe. There are only two things I do not like about the kubota. First the rear hitch receiver is way under the machine. It difficult to change hitches and you need at least 4? of sleeve between the pin hole and the welded on drop or rise. Most hitched are only 3 1/2. They make a kit too fix it. Just haven?t bought it yet. Second I wish I would have gotten a 4 seater. Seems like there?s always more that two of us going somewhere and my wife and I are expecting our first child next month so the extra room would be nice. I?m going tomorrow to see about trading the 2 seater for a 4 seater. Also I was on the fence about buying used or new. Kubota almost always offers 0% interest of utvs. So that was a no brainer buy new and very little upfront money out of pocket. Got to build quite a bit of extra fence with the cash still on hand

I?ve got a Polaris ranger 900 xp I bought new this past July and has been great over 600 miles on it already with no problems. Couple more polaris rangers on the neighborhood everyone around here likes them

I have a Honda big red, no problems with it at all its got about 3000 miles on it now and main reason I went with it and its all gear to gear no belt.

I was able to get a 94 Toyota 4x4, that needed lower control arms and rusted frame repaired. Truck had 74,000 miles on it, Heater, Air, radio works, my wife enjoys it as her "new" side by side

I have a Kubota RTV 1140 very pleased with it
this is the 2nd one I have had, traded the 900 model in on this 1140

Closest I have is a 59 Willys CJ5. Seems like all the people I know with SXS are townies or live on an acre and use them to make beer runs. The few farmers that have them have them up for sale here what with the great milk prices.,,

Since getting the RTV the Buck is in semi retirement. The Kubota is just so much handier it gets used every day.

I have a Gator TH 6x4. It is slow but it sure can carry alot. With the electric dump it is real easy to work with. I do wish it went a bit faster but it is designed to haul lots more than win a race so I am ok with that.
