Anybody collect old pedal tractors? Saw these two in a flea market this morning, one on the left $275 and one on the right was $225, 20% of sale prices here today, I didn?t buy them.
But I did buy an 8N Ford tractor hood and both headlights for $25 while there....

That's kinda on the high side of retail for a pressed steel. The only tractor brand to sell a pressed steel pedal as far as I know, was Minneapolis Moline, and neither one of those are.

I dont collect them but my grandpa gave me an oliver 880 in 1958. my sister saw one just like it at some antique place about 15 years ago she asked what it was worth the guy said between $2500.00 to $5000.00

All I know is I had 2 of them as a kid in the 60's, both Farmalls and I would sure like to have them now. I've seen them go $800 - $1000 at auctions.

I had a JD 20 when I was a kid. Someone gave it to my dad for me. I still remember coming home with it in the back of the truck. I spent the entire trip standing on the seat of the truck holding on to the back looking out the rear window to make sure it didn't blow out or something. I put a lot of acres on that pedal tractor. My dad even made implements that I pulled. Even when I broke the pedals off that JD still continued to run. I still have it sitting in the barn.

I had a Farmall in the early '50s. Saw one just like it about 10 years ago that had been eaten up with rust. Didnt think it would be worth it fixin' it up and wouldn't know where to start if I did. Askin'
$750.00 and probably got it.

I almost hate to admit it, but as a dedicated Farmall person, worked AT Farmall and all, I had a Massey Harris pedal tractor. Guy I worked with 20+ years ago who collected pedal tractors said the Massey was much more valuable than a Farmall because it was more rare.

My brother and I had a red Wester Flyer like that. At one time practically every piece of furniture and appliances in our house were from Western Auto. Still have some of the furniture and stereos/radios.

I?ve got a 560 Farmall dad pulled off the rock pile along the side of the road 45 years ago. He fixed the ailment and painted it Oliver green because we had a 770 and a S55 at that time. I farmed a lot of acres with that tractor and 30 years later my boy did some farming with it also. Currently it?s waitng in the shed with the big tractors for a young upstart farmer to come along.

I had a Case cast type. I don't remember how old I was when I got it, but when I was 9, my Dad bought a used Schwinn 20" bike for me and the tractor disappeared.....

I texted a friend who collects pedal tractors, he said $50 each would be top price on those 2. I found this in a junk store , $45. Text same friend he said that was a good deal. I left it there. Don't need it. Didn't love it. Lol.

Here is the pedal tractor I restored for my grandaughter. This is a Joseph Ertl, scale model tractor. Not as highly sought after or collected as the Ertl brand. Not a high dollar pedal. I just want her to farm like I did when I was her age. The only thing I would have done different would have been used Industrial tractor decals. They are black and white instead of the yellow and green.

I?ve got one granddaughter in particular that would love to straddle that pink tractor, nice job....

I think he has it right. I'd have to think twice before I'd give twenty. I wouldn't go that high if I had to carry them very far to get them to the truck.

I have a Farmall 400 pedal tractor my aunt gave me for Christmas 1955 she worked at the IH dealership.Sort of a gag gift in a way since they farmed with IH and my dad was an AC guy she wanted me to
grow up to be a Farmall guy.Didn't work.

Ya,that's not even a chain drive. Not the most desirable. I had a chain drive pressed steel along with my Oliver when I was a kid,but only because some folks who were moving didn't want to take it with them and gave it to me.

I wouldn't give anything for those. I had a Farmall M or H in about 1953 but it got handed down to my brothers kids, haven't see it since. Bought a John Deere for my son about 27 years ago, bought it from a farm girl trying to raise a little college money. Father in law was going to give me a Massey before I bought the JD then he found it about 6 months later. It was pretty well used up, put a lot of parts in it, had a body man buddy paint it and I gave it back to my father in law for Christmas. He always said when he died my son was supposed to get it. Brother in law sold it at a garage sale. Still pizzed about that. Was a Massey 44 Special or Super 44, don't remember.
