Went by a new modular home last night, people have been living in their camper while new larger house was set. No skirting around the bottom yet but Chirstmas lights all around the roof. They have young kids so probably did it for them.

My "PRIVATE" Secretary just gave me an "order": Take the Santa and spotlight down NOW.

The only reason Santa was on display was to light the front door for the CAROLERS.

New hand rail was installed on her front steps, just for HER! Icy and dark conditions now HERE! RECENT HIP JOB on HER right side.

The wife took the tree down yesterday. She wasn't happy with it to begin with it because it had a big bare spot. Guess she didn't want to be taunted by it for even another day.

If the water is hooked up and on it would be here also unless there is a heat tape on it, which is possible since they had a trailer before.

This sort of ties in with the thread about Christmas music. People turn their lights on at Thanksgiving or before, but then can't even leave them on through New Year's.
I turn on my lights on Dec. 15 and leave them on till Jan. 15. That's 10 days before Christmas till two weeks after New Year's. They're still on for only a month like everyone else's; it's just a different month!
I feel that Christmas should be at the center of the celebration, not at the end!

Hello Bruce will from Thamesford. I agree with you about the possibility of frozen water looms large. Yet this year we haven't had our tub line slowed to a crall. This only happens when the wind is in a particular direction. SO O O I can hope largly for this family with the new unit. Close it in quickly is my advice.

No......the neighbor down the street had their Christmas tree on the curb for trash pickup yesterday, Wednesday. To me that is almost sacrilegious.

I leave mine up all year, and plug them in July 4th.
Also got a small reader board that has all season messages,
just pick the proper one,
My fav is "Bah, Humbug"
Wife trying to figure out how to delete that one!!!
