I think I posted earlier this fall about a MM 445 I acquired. It was a genuine barn find--supposedly the last time it ran was some time in the 1990's.
It was not stuck, and had anti-freeze in it. I gave it the ATF treatment as prescribed by Old, changed the fluids, replaced all the ignition parts, had the carb cleaned up and gone through, and last Friday got her fired up. She runs amazingly well!
We've obviously got a ways to go before we're ready to go cruising, but we made a great first step.

This is my first experience also with one that new (1957). I've been learning a lot.
That sheet metal covers up almost everything. Hard to get at much of anything without taking it off. That piece in the center opens up like a car hood to get at the radiator cap.
 
They were a pretty good tractor and will serve you well. Not to hard to work on and parts are available.
