Can anyone please help me identify this Ford backhoe?

Hello all, my dad passed away last year and I have inherited his backhoe. Over the years, its been painted over I suppose and I cannot find any ID tags. My best guess is that its a 7500 but am not sure. I'm amazed at the many different models made which makes my search even more difficult. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

From those two pictures, I would agree
that it's likely a 7500. Should be a 4-
cylinder turbo. Can you find the ID tag?
It's under the hood, above the battery, on
ag models. The model, serial, and unit
numbers will also be stamped on the
bellhousing just above and to the rear of
the starter.

I have one that looks just like that its a 1969 model 5500

That's a 5550. A few subtle differences between a 5550 and a
5500. The visual give away is the filter on the side of the
cowl. The 5550 had the bigger 256 engine and an improvement in
the torque converter seal.
Dad had a 5500 and two 5550s. My brother and I could have the
motor out in an hour and half.
I have brand new tachometer in my garage somewhere..
