the description says the rake uses the "Ford Hydraulic Touch Control" system to move the rake. I wonder if there were
any copyright or legal issues related to International Harvester's "Touch Control" system on the letter series of
the same era, or which was first?

I like the buck rake which was popular before balers became the way to go. Most people today have no idea what a buck rake was or what it was used for.
 
Here's a few more for you. When I was a kid,Dad had a few 8Ns and 9Ns. The nearest dealer of any kind was a Ford dealer. We used to get a lot of literature in the mail from them. I used to love the way they were black and white except for the red that stood out from it all.
