Zebra tractor 2522 service-help

How do you service the gearbox and three point hook up on a zebra 2522. Any response zebra related is welcome, can't find any service information on it.

I found a drain plug on the bottom, but it's dry. I found a magnet under the seat, I cleaned the metal shavings off. I assume it serves the same purpose as a magnet in a trans or rear end. I don't know if the 3 point shares the same fluid as the trans, I don't know what kind of fluid to put where, or how much.

I suspect you already know the answer, gene, and that is, NONE. There is no Zebra website, as it is a defunct brand. However, google for "zebra tractor" shows some useful information:

Tractors wikia shows that all but one model was manufactured by the HMT company out of India, under license from Zetor. They do look like Zetors.

There is a place online called "Bill's Tractor" that specializes in Zetor and Zebra parts. He sells a "repair manual" for Zebra tractors:

I followed the link to the zetor website, and entered 2511 into the parameters. The service manual was free to download, and it does indeed appear very very similar to the zebra 2522 I have, so much so that I am happy to treat the machine the same. The gearbox service is the very last page, lol, and it recommends a 2 gal flush with B1 or B2, running it for ten minutes, before I refill it with about 6 gallons of sae 90. So the trans is treated as a rear end, no clutches, no frictions, and the three point must be gear driven, like an old Browning winch, power up gravity down.

I was hesitant about the zetor/zebra interchange, as I had been getting conflicting reports about relationships. I know that they shared an importer, in American Jawa, it appears they are in fact related, in that the zebra is the knock off zetor, literally. Think of a name brand vs generic, for all intents and purposes, the same, but with minor differences. thank you for your responses.

I want to add, just in case anyone finds this thread the way I did, in an online search. the zebra was under license from zetor, so service is the same, and that should put that to bed. I had missed that under license part at first, (thanks again) and if I had slowed down a bit reading, probably would have saved me some time in the long run. Bills seems to be a decent site, I stumbled upon them when I was in search of a solenoid cap for the 2522 mentioned above, because I broke the 20 something year old one jumping it, but after seeing that it calls for replacement of the whole solenoid, or worse purchase of a starter, I just put a hose clamp around it and tried to weather proof that, and it works. I skipped that 70$ zebra manual, the free zetor download is fantastic. If you follow that link, select the British flag for english language, and under there "type" drop down select the series. 25xx, 35xx, etc. Zetor numbers seem ten or eleven above the corresponding zebra, ex: my 2522 was zetor 2511. This site is great, so join because I joined and posted yesterday, and have fast solid answers today.
