I saw on the news tonight that Brinks was spreading money on the NJ Turnpike today. I guess the Brinks guy thought it was getting slippery.

I saw that too. Said it caused numerous accidents as people were scrambling for the money. And Brinks expects them to return the ill-gotten booty.

Oh yeah, they will be checking all cameras and getting license plate numbers and face recognition. Then they will act like you stole the money, not that they "left it laying on the highway". I have seen stuff laying along the highway, stuff worth picking up, two reasons not to stop, the owner maybe back, stopping along almost any highway is dangerous. gobble

There was this same situation in the news a few months back. Part of the story was that finders keepers did not legally apply to this situation. Perhaps as it was plain who it belongs to and where it had come from.
