What would an IH 4800 cultivator in good shape be worth at auction? The one I’m looking at is a 24’ with 5 bar spike harrow.

It would have to be nice to bring 3000 dollars here. Worn and rusty around 1000 dollars.

A nice CIH 4800 in that size here in NEIL on avg will bring $5-7K range on auctions. It's winter time here so it might bring less or more if someone needs to spend money by the end of the year.

100 dollars per foot of width buys a lot of cultivator here in no til land.

Used to be $5000 when I bought mine.

Of late I see them in the $1-2000 range.

You can buy a pretty nice cultivator that size with a spike harrow for under $2000 pretty much anytime around here. No need to go long but I would shop around for condition.
