Larry, great job you did there. I like the slate roof. Need to do a bunch of foundation work on our barn up in NY. You are welcome to come help and/or direct when we
get to working on it.

I don't care if the photos are old. Heck, at my age I might not remember the first time I saw them.
Keep posting.

Great job a saving that shed - but be careful. In the fifth photo, that looks like poison ivy climbing the tree.

Good for you saving that old building. They are not building them anymore. I have a few here I'd like to repair but not sure I'll ever get around to it. LIke this 113 year old log barn my great uncle built. The logs are rotting off at the bottom and it gradually settles a bit further into the ground.

Larry, do you know the history of the shed? Why was it built way out in the fields by itself, or is it the last remaining one of a long gone homestead?

According to the neighbors grandma,it was there when she was little. The property, almost 13 acres, sat a block away from the old farm.It was a piece of land with the shed.It was all purchased together when the old farm was bought around 1969.Asking the neighbors grandma,,she said that many, many years a farmer built that shed.He built it because his main farm was a block away.If he was working that ground and a storm hit,,he had a place to bring his horses in.

you asked about potatoes,,heres a different set of pictures of harvesting a patch

Nice work. Slate roof? Vines I see all over the tree and and trimmed along the building Poison Ivy??????? We have the same problem here. Nice
('75?) 2000 even if it is a gasser. Wink.
