just to much muffler hanging past the manifold, surprised they don't all break.

I had the same issue with a Gehl 4625 skidloader with the 46 hp Kubota engine. I built a saddle bracket under the muffler to support it. No more problems. Just another example of dumb butt engineer. BTW- bracket needs to mount on the engine, cuz the engine vibrates, so you need to contain it. Make it vibrate as a unit. They hung a long muffler from one end, gee, what could go wrong?

Muffler looks familiar but mine has 4 cyls and just shy of 3000 hours. No signs of cracking thank goodness! That one sure looks like some one hit something with the exhaust tip close to the muffler to break the flange like that.

need to add brace on muffler to carry the weight you cant just let the muffler bounce on the manifold

I bought my first Kubota in 1993 and immediately rotated the muffler from vertical to horizontal to allow driving beneath tree limbs without damage.

It's been over 25 years now and I've had no issues but I'm careful to avoit hitting anything with the exhaust.
