Auction searches?

A while back, someone posted the results of a local equipment auction in which a piece of equipment I would have been interested in sold. Trouble was auction was 3 states away. That was a local auction and no way I would have know about it. Or is there?

Is there an Internet site where I can go to do an ebay type "watch list" search for local auctions? Say I want to buy an White 2-70? Put in my search and it scans auction sites etc. and it lets me know when it finds one.

Also, I keep an eye on Tractorhouse and related auctions, but their watch lists are anything but. Keeping an eye on that stuff gets old in a hurry.

If you are looking for a White 2-70,one sells this Fri.in southern ohio.Look up WENDT GROUP for all their listings.

Not sure if one setup any kind of "watch
list"...

But I love to peruse upcoming auction
listings at:
Auctionsgo.com

(quoted from post at 14:33:41 12/09/18) I like auctionzip.
Type in a zip code and how many mile out you would like to go.
auctiozip

Don't know if this is exactly what I was looking for, but it's close!

I gave it a test and it was able to find a couple obscure pieces of equipment that are listed on upcoming local auctions. But those were both bigger auction outfits. So not sure if it finds them on it's own or if the auction outfits must submit lists to them, but will keep an eye on this one just the same.

Will sign up and test it's watch feature to see how that works.

Thanks to all who replied.

Sites like auctiontime and bigiron are auction services unto themselves. They only list what is on THEIR auctions.

Auctionzip will allow you to search for auctions that are ADVERTISED by area, but as far as putting a "watch" for anything specific, it is not that sophisticated. It also limits you to how far away you can search as I recall.

In my experience, by and large, auctioneers tend to drag their feet on embracing technology like this. Heck fully half the auctioneers in my area still use HAND WRITTEN ledgers and tickets. Most of the rest use a hybrid approach. Only a couple are fully computerized.
