Got my MF40 loader dragged out of the bushes today, and into the shop next to the NH445e mower - both winter projects. My new hydraulic set-
up got tested out, and the first thing that happened when I tried to lift the loader was an oil spill! First thought was - awhh s**t, one of
my new hydraulic couplings has failed right away! But no, it was just a fitting this daft old sod had forgotten to tighten! That done,
everything actually worked! The loader will be stripped and repainted, the tilt ram hoses shortened and converted to quick release, and the
pin latches for the attatchments will be repaired.
The mower will also also be stripped and re-painted. As I was thinking on a previous post, I had to have the new decals for the 445e custom
made - Ace Decals (actually in Australia) did a great job from photos and measurements (and for very little money) and they ship world-wide!
