Looks as if it is an order for a custom harvester many years ago. Wow.
Today each machine would be three times the size of those. All of the
trucks look like GMCs. What a parade!

I remember back in the early '60's when I was moonlighting at a grain elevator in Altus, Ok., working the wheat harvest. The guys
started somewhere down in the valley and worked their way to Canada. Wheat came in on bobtails, semis, or railroad cars. I remember
seeing them pass by as they moved North.

It appears to me, that the loading dock must have been lower than the truck bed, in order to get the cutter bars to clear the cabs roof.

(quoted from post at 07:37:26 12/07/18) Can't see real clear. Third truck looks like double headlights, that would make it a 1958 I believe.

Great eye! I was ready to assume no newer than '57! Anyone know (big shot in the dark) if this might be the crew that cut wheat on the Crow reservation?

In '65, I went on a small harvest crew from Kansas to Hardin,Mt. On the "move" from Carpenter, Wy. to Hardin, we went by a huge crew, with Masseys loaded like this (headers still attached) and my boss said they always cut the wheat on the reservation.
