Not perfect by any means but ok for an amateur. Some electrical and cosmetics and green paint and out the door. Ben

doh!...I can't even take a picture correctly!!

Not really a dent, that's where the hood and grille are bolted together, resulting in a shallow depression as they are drawn together. The cowl/grille has a bit of a wallow on that side too. The shine on the paint exaggerates it a bit. There are other imperfections as well!

Now the question is WHY? We liked that hand clutch, they worked great. Easy to use as well.

Where the hood joint is there is supposed to be a 5/16' thick rubber washer behind it with a steel bushing in the middle to keep the bolt from being tightened down too far, making a dent. This also allows some flex between the hood and grille. Most of those washers get lost with the passage of time. I make replacements out of the sidewall of a bias car tire. I believe it takes a 1 1/4' hole saw if I'm thinking right.

It does look really nice though. You have every right to be proud of it.
