Gehl 4625SX Ok guys how do ya'll get the tool carrier off? The pivot pins for the tool carrier go inside of a round tube between the lift arms. I see no locking pin to hold them in. Do they press in? how do I drive them out? This one has me scratching my head. I do not want to cut the tool carrier up.
 
Not familiar but can you drill a hole in end of pin and tap it? Then you could pull on a bolt or bolt a ring on it or a chain or anything to pull on.
 
I'm busy with some other stuff so haven't looked carefully to see if this is what you're asking about. If you want, I have a couple of manuals in PDF format. Email is open in Modern View.

The left-side drive is making some bad sounds on my SX4625, so it's parked until Spring.....or longer. *cry*

Why do you need it off ? I have one but never had them off I did buy an adapter plate to use the new style bucket latch system but it is quick tach so i can use old and new.
 
Yes that is what I was looking for. It appears 16 is a cap that holds the pin in. I am going to work on from there. Thanks for the input, Now where is the big sledge.....

Alright I got them swapped out. I did it wrong but it is done now. (see photos) the end caps 16 in parts break down simply drive in, getting them out is the trick. we broke a slide hammer trying to pull them. The pins are threaded with a 7/16 coarse thread , screw in a bolt and the are supposed to slide right out! the pins like about a 1/2 inch pushing in far enough to clear the booms.
