In the Frost

You're in a winter wonderland! Seeing those trails through the woods gives me the urge to come over there with a horse and go for a nice ride. Here in northern WI, we have the same ice fog and frost. Here are two not-as-nice pictures as yours, but you get the idea. The wind and falling ice droplets are coming from the flag side of those ice pieces, not the post side. So sorry, I don't know why these turned sideways, but you can see the frost the same.

Thanks for the walk and drive. Does the creek on your back road have a name? Is Canadian plains water flow generally from west to east similar to what it is on the US plains? Something I've observed (which doesn't relate to your video) is the resolution of satellite video isn't as high on Canadian views as on US views. Not sure who does the satellite stuff - maybe not the same company for both countries? Or maybe it's all government done? Anybody know?

Ron, that was the Jumping Deer creek I crossed. One of the tributaries that flow into the Qu'appelle lakes here and eventually on to the Assiniboine river. No doubt it ends up in the Gulf of Mexico. Resolution on google earth varies around here. You can actually see the lines where high res ends and changes to low. Its better than it was but not up to the levels of some higher populated areas.

If I wouldn't have been so lazy (water flow is an interest of mine) I could have checked water flow in SK. Actually most of it goes to Hudson Bay, some via the Assiniboine into the Red, other via the Saskatchewan and the Churchill farther north.
