Still No Sun

I was complaining last week about the cloudy days with no sun and nothing has changed. I can't remember such a long spell of dark, cloudy and damp weather. Lots of hoar frost this morning which makes for great photos if the sunshine and blue sky are there too. But this is all I got this morning. A shot of the old McCormick 15-30 on the shadow-less landscape of my yard.

(quoted from post at 13:10:38 11/30/18) More of your genious at work. Very nice. These are the kind of photos we never tire of.
Thanks for all the compliments on the photos. It makes my day. Got some video of a walk through the frosty woods this morning. Might get it posted to youtube later today. Waiting in hopes that the sun will come out for some drone shots of this frost but its not looking like it. Still thick fog at mid day.

Heard on the news last night that for us in the Northeast there were 4 days in November with sun shine. Guess I'd better get some vitamin D pills.

We had a lot of fog to in the mornings, one of the guys at dinner said it will be like this till Christmas !! I hope he's wrong.

(quoted from post at 16:56:39 11/30/18) I see another steel wheeler beyond the shed. What is it?
No, that is just a spare set of wheels I dragged home last year. Figured all this old stuff is getting more valuable and somebody might just pick them up if I left them out in the woods.

I live just off the shore of Lake Michigan. This time of year we rarely see the sun until mid to late February When it warms up a little you get fog. When it is cold you get lake effect snow. It is VERY easy to get depressed this time of year. I do feel that those of us who live out here get more excited to feel and see the spring sun than the average fellow does. Al.

I would agree. The professionals call it "S.A.D." seasonal affective disorder. I'm ok with it but it just seems to me that November has had the least amount of sun this year than any year I can recall. I'm betting that when weather statistics are in they will confirm that.

Last night the tv weather babe said it was the 8th coldest November in 112 years, in northern Illinois anyway, plus pretty gloomy too.

(quoted from post at 18:54:27 11/30/18) Still a great pic... so is the plow pic in
your other post above.
Thanks, but this is the kind of shot I was hoping for if the sun had come out. Took this one in winter of 2014-15. What a day for pictures that was!

Sometimes the indirect lighting provided by a cloudy day makes
for a better photo. There are no shadows. The worst videos are
shot on bright sunny days. Too much contrast.
