Maybe If we run in A convoy Barney ytdot fife won?t be able to stop us 😀😀. I didn?t have time to take a picture of the tractor on the trailer but this?ll suffice I guess . Poor little gas engine in the ford just about could not pull the hill out of the river bottoms

Sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do. I wonder if the ytdot guys have ever been in a spot where they just had to go for it?!?! Lol!
 
Back in the 80's I had a 3/4 ton Ford with a tool box on the back,bought an Allis Chalmers B up in Maryland had the loader man set the front of the B on the tool box
so I could get the tractor in the bed of the truck.Had a guy ask me if he could take a picture,I said sure are you a collector.No he said I teach DOT officers just wanted a picture
to show the class(LOL)
 
I bought a 40 l from a guy and was putting fuel in it and he ask me where I live and told him and that I was going to just drive it home. He told me well why don't you just put in the back of that ford pick up truck and go witch was only a f150 half ton so we did and the way we go tell the state cop stop us. He told us that we were over loaded to follow him to the county shop to get weighed witch I told him that we were lic for more then that tractor in the back would not put us over. He told me that he knows all about John deere and there all heave and I'll be paying for every pound over the lic plate says. So off to the county shop and got weight in and was 1000th pounds to the good. He was mad now that he could not pinch me for the weight so he gave me a warning on the exhaust to get it fix.
