they sure do Ellis! I don't even know where my shovel is anymore!
Also get rid of shrubs I don't want to keep trimmed too!

Here I use a 1/2 gal of diesel fuel and 1 very used tire. You can t burn tires, but you can use one for fuel(here)

You're overthinking it. They never had a problem in the old days. My Great Grandpa lost a finger in one of those old stump pullers. He needed to shorten the chain and asked somebody if they had a bolt to put in the chain? They asked "How big?". He said "About that big." and stuck his finger in the chain link. The horses lunged a little,the chain came tight and it sheared his finger right off.

Don't know for sure,but I've heard that here you can't burn a tire if it's off a rim,but you can if it's on a rim. If it's on,it's recycling the rim.

A stump grinder works wonders on them. Even a small one would not take long to cut that one out if you sawed it off first at ground level.

Watch the video on Youtube of the Temple family horse powered stump puller. Maybe it will give you some ideas. Anyway it is interesting to watch and real clever
how it was made and the way it worked.

Just need a good neighbor with a 75 hp grinder.

BTW, he's been grinding stumps for years and yet to go to ER. He's wearing ear plugs too.
