Folks, the McGuire Sisters were huge in the 1950s, and they had bigger hits than this, including a Number 1, but this is my favorite.

I may post other McGuire Sister's if there is any interest.

Dean they where not my cup of tea, so to speak. They where talented. That was a requirement then. Good voices and skill. Now it is looks and willingness to be a spectacle over talent. I would say half or more of the modern day singers truthfully do not have very good vocal talent.
 
This McGuire Sisters song went to #1 in 1955.

That said, it is not the song for which they are most remembered.

Sugartime is the song for which the McGuire Sisters are most remembered even though it is not their greatest hit.

It was the Lennon Sisters that performed regularly on The Lawrence Welk Show.
