OT: Ray Price

I keep trying to like today's country but then someone like you will direct me to Ray Price and his peers and I realize there is no comparison.

Danced to he and his band numerous times although there were a few times he was "under the weather" and it was just his band.

Crazy Arms was written by Chuck Seals and Ralph Mooney. Mooney may be playing pedal steel on this too, but I'm not sure of that.

"For the Good Times"......priceless. On Utube.....all decked out in his Tuxedo, no whistles and bells, explosions, lights flashing everywhere, couple of dozen guitars banging away and guitarists jumping all over the stage and all the fan fare, just him....... pure class.....priceless.

I understand, Belgian.

I can't stand modern country music. It's just noise.

You're right, Bruce.

That honky tonk piano in the background is wonderful.
