I was at a farm earlier today and they have a JD 2750, with a cab. Nice handy sized tractor. 75 hp, 4 cylinder diesel. German engine. Are these decent or green painted ?not so much?? Looked like side console Hi/Lo shift transmission.

50 & 55 series JD utility tractors are some of the better tractors JD built. The cab models wiring schematics & AC performance leave a little to be desired.

As with any wet sleeve diesel engine and transmission with wet brakes/wet clutches. There has to be functioning corrosion inhibitor in the coolant and the clean proper spec oil in the transmission.

They are a 2020 with a cab adapted to it...yes the engine was built in Germany, but designed in Dubuque..You are right though they are a cute nice size tractor, and when they are good they are great....

I have a 2755. Wonderful tractor. Has 5,000 hours. Runs like new. Almost zero oil consumption. Mine has 8 speed tranny. Can't speak to power shift. Parts except cab trim stuff still readily available. I have checked fuel consumption under many conditions and it is comperable to my neighbor's 5 year old Kubota.
