Those are some machines . I?ve had two ih pickups
a 1210-8 And then about a 50 or 51 it was 4wd
and it would go anywhere

SteveC1031,

Nice!! Especially like that pickup.

When something cannot be rusty... then red is the next best color. :)

Learned the fine art of double clutching on my Uncles 1949 KB 1. Big inline 6 with a four speed, 1st gear was a ?crawler gear?, you could set the
throttle with a pull out knob on the dash, key to unlock the ignition, step on the starter peg on the floor, vacuum wipers...ahhh the good old days!
😉

Welcome to the forum Steve. Don't know whether to like you or hate you. *lol* Sure are some purdy machines.

From where abouts you come?? I see a little snow and some spruces, so must not be TOO far south.

Back in 60s place we had rented a D series panel truck setting on it. Had parts missing but shure had fun playing in it.

Very nice siblings! I have old trucks and
tractors also. Along with other old stuff.

I am located in Barrington IL, The truck was purchased 15 years ago. The tractor about 2 years ago.

The truck is very solid completely original besides the paint. The tractor I have no real use for
here but it is fun to drive around, although I have pulled some stumps out. The truck I use in the
summer to go fishing and to run around town. With top comfy speed at 45 mph I stay off the faster
roads.

Good question on the triangle on the front bumper. It's old & rusty. My thought was a guard but
back then who really cared maybe it had another purpose. Love the visor too but it prevents the
front window crank-out feature from working. Some engineering could solve this.

SteveC1031 nice pictures. I am restoring a 1946 IHC K-2. when I got it all that was there was the cab, frame, motor, transmission, rear end and the front axle. Engine was not froze up and I have overhauled it. this will be a complete frame off restortation just like the 2 1974 D-200 I have done. Harder to find parts for the 46 but that is the fun of it. If I could figure out how to post pictures on here I would post the 2 1974 I have done.
