Glad I am finished

The weather guessers were right. They were predicting snow to move through so I mudded the last 15 acres of river bottom out on Wednesday. That is all the river left me out of the 60 acre field. Hauled the last 3 loads to town yesterday. And this morning we woke up to this. The combine is a muddy mess but it is in the shed, done for another year.

It has been wet here all fall this year also,I got done 2 weeks ago but are still a lot of corn and beans to be harvested.On most years most of the farmers are done with harvest by Thanksgiving,but this year they will be lucky to be done by Christmas.
