1960 Farmall 460 with Du-All loader

I have a 1960 Farmall 460 with a Du-All loader which runs off a hydraulic pump on the tractor's pto. I'm tired of having to always take the pto pump off and chain it up out of the way in order to attach any implement, i.e. rotary mower to the pto. My Dad, who is 81 years old now, had a Farmall 450 with a Du-All loader when I was a young kid, about 40 years ago. He purchased a pto pump with a built-in male pto shaft coming out the back that he bought from FARMHAND. However, I do believe FARMHAND is no longer an existing company. I have not been able to find such a unit anywhere. I tried using a pto extension, but even after having it shortened and remachined, it was still too long. Also, my 460 does not have enough hydraulic remotes for the loader, bucket, and grapple fork, since one of the remotes is used for the 3-point hitch. Does anyone know where such a pto pump may exist? Or does anyone have another suggestion/idea?

I assume you have 2 remotes, since you say one is dedicated to the 3 point hitch. Leave that one alone, but get a 3 spool hydraulic valve and run the other remote hoses through it, as a "power beyond" setup. You'll have to tie the remote lever so the fluid is running all the time, then plumb the 3 spool to the loader lift, bucket and grapple. Go to a tractor hydraulic place and show them what you are trying to do, they can probably help. You may need a "power beyond" capable valve, not sure on your particular tractor.

Your Du-All loader should operate OK using the 460s hydraulics. Most likely will be a bit slower, but should still work.

I know what you are talking about with the extended pto shaft through the pump, but I have no idea where you might find one.

Just to clarify. My 460 actually has 2 spare remotes that I'm currently not using. It has a total of 3 remotes/3 hydraulic levers on the tractor. One of which is dedicated to the 3 point hitch.

Trying to figure out how to make this 460 a little more user friendly.
