Leaf machine picture is from earlier this year. Collected for the last time yesterday. Woke up to white today in SE MI.

I managed to do the same yesterday, and we got white overnight on the west side of the state, as well.

My big catalpa tree still is holding about 25% of it's leaves, so I am not really done...

I have a lot of trees and have have a couple of DR leaf vacs. I really like the new one with the tilting trailer....makes dumping really fast. I dump them in a pile and in the spring prior to soil prep for summer crops I load them in my JD Model N poop slinger and take them out to the field and spread them out. Great soil replenishment.

I mulch mine. I do it three times. I will mulch them again in the spring. That way what the trees take out of the soil, will go back in.

Nice looking rig and property. I have ten sugar maples lining my driveway, but my theory on leaves is that the good lord put them there, and the good lord will take them away. It is a little rough on the grass though - if I had a outfit like yours I'd probably pick them up

While you can't tell from the pictures, there are way too many to mulch when they are wet. Even going over with just the mower 3 times, they were 1 1/2" thick around the two trees. It is just easier and faster to pic them up and dump them in my 10 yard compost pile. Luckily, I have an out of side location to compost.

These 2 trees were my last two hold outs. I was hoping they would dry first, but with the forecast I had to get
them wet. The machine doesn't like wet leaves, but I persevered.

I grind mine and blow them back on yard and don't need to fertilize yard but lime it every other year.
